For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking  for a full-time Sales Coordinator in the Parts and Accessories Division.


About the role:
E-Kit and E-Mobility spare parts

In this role you will be coordinating the sales activities for all E-Kits and E-Mobilty parts towards assigned customers/distributors, this will occupied an estimated 80% of your working time. You will be the first point of contact for distributors and E-Kit/E-Mobility customers for commercial, administrative and product related topics. You will work on the improvement of communication with various customers in order to facilitate the achievement of sales and profit targets. You will make sure that all sales related administrative processes are correctly put in place. You take part and support in the organization of key commercial activities (e.g. events and tenders) toward the various customers (B2B).


Spare Engines

For racing activities within Europe, you will be coordinating and responsible for the timely creation of the order to the factories for the new racing season, and you will be monitoring the deliveries from the concerning factories. You will be responsible for the allocation of the engines to the racing teams and distributors, making sure that the racing activities will not be jeopardize because of no or late supply of engines. You will initiate meetings with all stakeholders to coordinate this activities in a proactively and timely manner. Here mentioned activities should consume an estimated 15% of your working time.


Captive parts

Support the Factory group with the communication to the distributors. This will be mainly to collect sales forecasts and discuss ongoing issues. You will initiate and coordinate the meetings and ensure the needs of the Factory group will be achieved where possible. Also you will plan and carry out sell out campaigns in overstock situation. Here mentioned activities should consume an estimated 5% of your working time.


Principle accountabilities:

  • Be the main sales actor and daily contact for the assigned customers;
  • Proactively support order processing operation;
  • Being the central point of contact for Yamaha distributors/customers (internal and external) on product related information;
  • Support in the definition, organization and realization of sales related events, keeping budget under control;
  • Be central point of contact for B2B administrative sales operation;
  • Devise and prepare periodic reports;
  • Support and maintain existing communication tools;
  • Continuously and consciously monitor existing procedures and processes in the operational existing systems;
  • Initiate and participate in occasional short and medium term projects aimed at bringing forward aspects that are important;
  • Support the budget making activities following the guidance and requests of the dept. manager.


About You!

What do you bring?

  • 5 years of business experience;
  • Functional knowledge in the field of bicycles and/or related parts & accessories business;
  • Product management experience of at least 3 years;
  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in commercial economics, international business or similar;
  • (Excellent) analytical skills, experience working with MS Office software, able to present a business case internally and externally;
  • Good communication skills, able to adapt to and successfully work with different cultures, internal/external stakeholders, and at different management levels in- or outside Yamaha Motors Europe;
  • Creative, flexible, and able to deal with short dead-lines if necessary;
  • Business fluency in English, additional European languages (e.g. NL/GER/FRA) considered a plus.

About Yamaha Motor:
Yamaha Motor Europe is responsible for coordinating the marketing and sales activities of Yamaha Motor products in the European marketplace, mainly: Yamaha motorcycles and scooters, marine outboard engines, Wave runner water vehicles, 4-wheel All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s), golf cars, snowmobiles and generators.
