For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Purchase and Inventory Coordinator in the Parts and Accessories Division.

About the role:

In your role you will help improve the delivery performance and the information quality of the suppliers, to achieve suitable allocation levels towards the market and to optimize the stock levels. Contribute to Purchasing excellence, together with the team, by strengthening the relationship with your stakeholders and increasing the process efficiency.

Part of your job will be to evaluate, develop, train (improve), and control suppliers, according to the operational requirements and prior conditions of the YME warehouse operation.
You will participate in projects arising out of the Purchase & Inventory Department, or out of the aftersales Divisions, with the goal of looking after the P&I interests in these projects, in order to optimize the allocation and stock levels.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely collection and analysis of necessary information from suppliers and the YME product planning;
  • Verify and update fit-up rates and forecasts from the sales team;
  • Determine initial order quantities;
  • Define, place, and maintain replenishment orders;
  • Coordinate, analyse, and predict the demand for Yamaha products (during the product life cycle);
  • Establish the parameters in the stock management system by (demand/supply) analysis or supply chain anticipation and keep these updated;
  • Determine items to be discontinued and quantities to be eventually scrapped.

About You!

An experienced and motivated colleague, happy to support the business and truly devoted to customer success. You have a strong interest in two-wheelers and/or technology. You are a humble team player, who is willing to learn and is not afraid to face challenges. Quality and professionalism lie close to your heart.


What do you bring?

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field;
  • A minimum of 5 years of business experience in the field of inventory management;
  • You can work accurately and have strong analytical skills in relation to product demand;
  • You are a self-starter and able to manage your duties and prioritize;
  • Fluency in English is a must;
