For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking  for a full-time Service Coordinator - Technical Advisor in the Marine Division. 

About the role: 

In this role you will be improving, coordinating and planning the European Marine Service policies and procedures, drawn up within Divisional guidelines. Perform technical support for all relevant Marine products. You will set KPI’s on service and warranty performance of the dealers and, based on their performance write an action plan for Distributors to address the situation/support to improve this performance. Support of all service activities of the Marine Division.

Principle accountabilities:

  • Technical monitoring of the network (support, advice, training, improvement in the quality of service of the dealers and distributors) = policy and procedures;
  • Management and control of warranty;
  • Create and maintain Marine dealer policy and procedures within Divisional guidelines;
  • Coordinate/ report on the Service activities and market issues;
  • Measure and increase the performance of our dealers for warranty /service;
  • Support Product Planning and Management by gathering and providing proper feedback from the European market;
  • Support homologation tasks in collaboration with management in order to inform about possible product change requests and to ensure the conformity of the Yamaha products.

About You!

You are a motivated and proactive colleague, enthusiastic, authentic and have a passion for what you do. You are a relevant experienced team player and you are ready to take on this challenge and taking on new things is your second nature. You are a strategic thinker but also very good at execution in your job. Of course, quality and professionalism are two important values ​​for you.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Engineering or a technical field;
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience;
  • Strong interest in the world of boating;
  • Excellent Communication and negotiation skills;
  • Fluency in the English language;
  • Proven skills in technical diagnosis and problem analysis;
  • Knowledge in the field of Marine;
  • Excellent MS Office and other IT tools skills.

About Yamaha Motor:
