For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Brand Specialist in e-Bikes & e-Kits within the Marketing Division. 

About the role:

A Specialist has extensive knowledge or ability based on research, experience, or occupation in a particular field. He/she is recognized as a “Professional” in the field based on prolonged or intense experience through practice and education. Widely recognized as a reliable source or skilled person whose faculty for judging or deciding rightly, justly, or wisely is accorded authority and status by peers or the stakeholders in YME and Distributors in his/her product groups or specialty.
A Specialist can steer directly a Coordinator thanks to his/her functional” authority.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will support to deliver the Brand/Product Strategy and positioning for the product groups assigned. Marketing plans will include embargo plan definition and asset delivery plan that has to be shared and approved by YMC;
  • Following the 7-step methodology, you will support the execution of the necessary activities in each step of the customer lifecycle always aiming to exceed customer expectations in all touchpoints of the customer lifecycle;
  • Secure the in-time production of all communication materials needed to promote Yamaha products and related services/activities in respect of their positioning and the Marketing plan, regardless if the assets are produced in the EU or the US;
  • Support the distribution of the various assets for new products, to provide Distributors with relevant sales supporting tools, to support new product launches and to better reach the targeted customers;
  • Secure the execution of the Press Test and Customer events managed by the Trade Marketing and Events Department within the Marketing Division;
  • Secure the execution of the pan-European on/off-line media campaigns;
  • Analyze competitors throughout the year and be up-to-date with latest trends in the industry;
  • Secure the periodic report creation and structured check of activities results, both from a Customer and Distributor point of view. 

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor's and/ or Master’s degree in Marketing or proven experience developing and executing marketing plans;
  • Knowledge and awareness of Brand image in Europe (customers, dealers, distributors, etc.);
  • Minimum 3+ years’ work experience in the Bicycle industry, in a similar position, and an international environment.
  • Experience with project management;
  • Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills;
  • Strategic thinker & creative and a team player;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving attitude;
  • Open attitude, supportive, and a go-getter;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and in writing.
