For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking  for a Quality Assurance Coordinator in our Land Mobility Quality Assurance and Product Regulation Division.

 

About the role:

Your main focus will be the implementation, adaptation and maintenance of the Quality Management System covering all Land Mobility Products, coordinating activities through European sites and Functional areas. You will assure compliance and alignment with Yamaha Motor Group policy and requirements, considering adaptation of processes and procedures to the specific conditions of Yamaha business and organization in Europe.

You will act as QMS Continuous Improvement leader, considering usage of internal audits, management reviews and company performance metrics to help identify opportunities for improvement, cooperating with QA team of Yamaha Head Quarter in Japan and Development/Manufacturing sites in Europe.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading, implementing, and improving Quality Management Systems (QMS) infrastructure, governance, procedures and related frameworks in the organisation, ensuring alignment with Yamaha Head Quarter;
  • Assisting with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures, involving stakeholders inside Development, Manufacturing and Business areas operational team;
  • Detect process and organizational risks, performing gap analysis in the organization's implementation;
  • Monitor process performance and implement continuous improvement actions, leading the organization to achieve quality management system targets for customers and business goals;
  • Participate in the audit (internal/external) to assess compliance with policy, requirements and operating procedures, evaluating the effectiveness of the QMS and identifying areas for improvement;
  • Prepare yearly plan for QMS Improvement, defining target and activity steps. Prepare and present periodic review of the quality system for regular ‘Management Review.

     

    What do you bring?

  • Business experience minimum 5 years internal and/or external;
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering;
  • Functional knowledge in the field of Quality Assurance and Development/Manufacturing operation;
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining ISO quality systems (ISO9001, IATF 16949, ISO14001);
  • Team-player with proactive attitude and challenge spirit ;
  • Good analytical skills with ability to identify issues and define improvement actions, implementing a clear PDCA approach;
  • Ability to work on cross-functional, global teams and recognize larger picture beyond just detailed issues;
  • Communication skills to be able to interact with internal stakeholders and external partners;
  • Willing to travel within Europe (30%) and worldwide;
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken;
  • Good command of French or Italian will be a plus.
