For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a full-time Corporate Communication Intern for our Corporate Communication Division.

 

About the role: 

The Corporate Communication Department is responsible for the effective coordination of all internal and external communications towards the company’s stakeholders. The Corporate Communication intern supports the Corporate Communication team members to achieve this goal through the execution of the plans thereof with the overall purpose of establishing, maintaining and sustaining consistent messaging and a positive image of the company with all stakeholders of Yamaha Motor Europe. All by the below KPIs and within the allocated budget.

 

Principle accountabilities:

• Actively participate in the thinking process to select the appropriate communication strategy;
• Support in the planning and execution of internal and external corporate communication topics in the various communication channels;
• Support in creating content for the corporate section of Yamaha Motor Europe website in cooperation with the Digital Marketing team;
• Support in the execution of various other corporate projects/activities/events;
• Communicating with different internal and external Yamaha stakeholders;
• Support in maintaining, rolling out, and monitoring the company’s VI guidelines
• Contributing to the further development of the Corporate Communication Department;
• Other tasks as assigned.

  What do you bring?

• You study Marketing and Communication, International Business, or any other study related to Corporate Communication;
• You are available for an internship for at least 6 months, full-time;
• You are creative and the first one to climb onto your pen when necessary;
• You have strong analytical skills and are well-organized;
• You have good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
• Able to stay flexible and adaptable;
• You are thorough and discrete, with attention to detail;
• You have strong interpersonal skills that allow you to work with people of different kind of working levels;
• Proactive, solution-driven, team-oriented work ethic;
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is a must, other languages are an asset.

 

About Yamaha Motor:
Yamaha Motor Europe is responsible for coordinating the marketing and sales activities of Yamaha Motor products in the European marketplace, mainly: Yamaha motorcycles and scooters, marine outboard engines, Wave runner water vehicles, 4-wheel All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s), golf cars, snowmobiles and generators.
