For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking  for a Senior PSI (Purchase, Sales, Inventory) Planning Coordinator PTW in our PTW Division.

 

About the role: 

You will guide, support and control the PSI Planning Coordinators (2x) and making both high level as well as detail suggestions and reports to the Department Manager PSI Planning in order to, together with the Department Manager PSI Planning, set and optimize the purchase & inventory situation in such a way that PTW purchase/sales/inventory budgets are achieved, potential risks are minimized and a clear and transparent supply situation within YMENV and towards distributors is ensured.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • You will plan and decide, together with the Department Manager PSI Planning, based on received whole sales, retail sales and dealer inventory plans, the pan European purchase and inventory budget/Mid Term Plan(MTP);
  • Discuss and negotiate with Yamaha factories to realize optimal supply to achieve PTW division budget/MTP against minimum consolidated costs;
  • Guide and support the PSI Planning Coordinators in making proper analysis of supply bottle-necks and other exceptions, monitor correct follow-up in order to optimize the supply as well as optimize the deviation of that supply among European distributors and make proper and on time report to the Department Manager PSI Planning;
  • Contribute to achievement of inventory & sales budget by pro-active change of monthly production orders (advance/delay, timing, colour mix, model mix, quantity) together with the PSI Planning Coordinators;
  • Build and maintain a healthy working relationship with distributors and YMENV internal relations such as colleague PSI Planning Coordinators, Business Planning Coordinators, Logistics Departments, IT etcetera;
  • Pro-actively propose and initiate discussions in order to contribute to the improvement of procedures, systems and results together with internal and external relations.


What do you bring?

  • Bachelor/university degree, preferably in supply chain management, logistics, business economics or other relevant field;
  • Excellent analytical & reporting skills;
  • Solid understanding of business, sales & operations related processes in a logistic and manufacturing environment counts as advantage;
  • Strong communicational skills, ability to express & iterate clear concepts, backed-up by strong data analytics;
  • Strong Excel skills;
  • Fluency in English mandatory, Dutch language counts as advantage.
