For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Customer Engagement Specialist for our Marketing Division.

About the role:

As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will be part of the Digital Engagement Team within the Digital Marketing and CRM Department at Yamaha Motor Europe HQ.
Your main goal is to map and optimize the customer journey across all touchpoints, brining added value to the customers and the business through Customer Data Platform program activations and CRM initiatives.

In the role of Customer Engagement Specialist, you are responsible for Customer Data Platform initiatives mapping and optimizing the customer journey across all touchpoints, throughout our users/prospects leads and customers. You will contribute to the growth of the customer database in terms of quality and quantity. You will act as a Customer Data Platform PO and Data Steward.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development (as a Product Owner) of the Customer Data Platform securing consistency between the data model and customer journey among the different touch points;
  • Proposing the customer engagement strategy in alignment with the Team Lead and Department Manager and following the execution plan in time and budget;
  • Mapping the customer journeys among current touch points and identifying new valuable ones for the business;
  • Involve the main internal stakeholders, key distributors, and business areas, working in collaborative methodology for the design of the customer journey and business needs identification;
  • Translating into development requests the business needs identified, improving the existing one for the growth in numbers and quality of customer database;
  • Design marketing automation leveraging Customer Data Platforms, and execute activations including email marketing, lead scoring, custom content triggering actions on the website, and any other new touch points that contribute to the growth of the business;
  • Take ownership of automation projects, and customer journey related, and identify and involve key partners for the implementation;
  • Propose and implement customer engagement and retention activities leveraging CRM, apps, and any other used channel or proposing a new one;
  • Support and collaborate with Data Teams providing inputs and requirements on CRM and customer data models, data quality and accuracy, dashboards, and reporting;
  • Support the Distributor in local customer engagement activities, through existing tools and or identify new ones;
  • Customer engagement KPI setup, measure, and analysis (lead generation, email marketing, CDP activation among others);
  • On a regular base, generate insights and communicate to main stakeholders, best practices, and requirements for improving the quality and quantity of the customer database.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data, Digital Marketing, Economics or Business Management;
  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Familiar with Digital Marketing and CRM principles;
  • Experience in digital marketing activities related to customer data, target, and segmentation;
  • Familiar with Customer Journey Maps and collaborative tools;
  • Knowledge and experience in web analytics and reporting (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, or any other CRM tool;
  • You are result-oriented with a data-driven mindset for making decisions based on data;
  • You are an organized person, able to manage projects, monitor progress establish priorities, and secure the execution until the finalization and delivery;
  • You are a think-out-of-the-box person, able to solve problems, and find creative and alternative solutions to secure the achievement of the goals;
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills able to make data-driven decisions;
  • You have computer skills, and you are an open, friendly, and creative professional;
  • You have a customer-centric mentality;
  • You are a team player willing to help and support others;
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is a requirement; Other languages are an asset;
  • You have an interest in motorcycles, the marine world, and international organizations.
