For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Brand Coordinator Marine for our Marketing Division.

About the role:

As a Brand Marketing Marine Coordinator, you can manage different projects at the same time, ensuring good communication flow with different stakeholders and coordinating the main communication activities related to product launches/product lifecycle management.
Working in the European Headquarters of Yamaha will provide the possibility to influence Yamaha’s positioning across the European region. The position allows for creating assets and campaigns that are deployed in different markets, allowing our Distributors to communicate with their final customers.

Main duties will be related to the operational activities within the scope of the creation of Communication materials (images, videos, text), Event Management, and Digital campaigns, with the support of external agencies and internal teams. The position requires a creative mindset and very good organizational skills, working simultaneously on several projects under the guidance of the Manager.

Your responsibilities:

  • Led by the Manager, you will support to deliver the Brand/Product Strategy and positioning for certain product groups;
  • follow product updates/enhancements and support the creation of related marketing plans;
  • Following the 7-step methodology, support in the execution of the necessary activities in each step of the customer lifecycle always aiming to exceed customer expectations in all touchpoints of the customer lifecycle. (This includes pre and post-purchase activities to secure the loyalty of the Yamaha owners and create Lifetime Yamaha Customers);
  • Coordinate production and delivery of all communication materials needed to promote Yamaha products and related services/activities, concerning their positioning and Marketing plans;
  • Manage different external agencies to ensure Yamaha’s communication materials are creative and explanatory;
  • Support the distribution of the various assets for new products, provide Distributors with relevant sales supporting tools, to support new product launches, and better reach the targeted customers;
  • support with the execution of the Press Test and Customer events managed by the Trade Marketing and Events Department within the Marketing Division;
  • Support the creation and execution of the pan-European on/off-line media campaigns;
  • Work closely with creative agencies in developing creative solutions for media campaigns, support Digital team in campaign execution, and propose appropriate media budget split per market/communication channel;
  • Analyze competitors throughout the year and be up-to-date with latest trends in the industry;

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Experience in marketing communication assets creation (visual + written);
  • Experience in working with(in) creative agencies (from the client or agency side);
  • Understanding of product lifecycle management/product launch from communication/marketing POV- Mandatory (preferably in a related industry);
  • Understanding of Digital landscape (digital campaigns);
  • Knowledge of Events management;
  • You are result-oriented, react fast, and can make decisions;
  • You are a fast learner, able to multitask, and can perform in a high-paced environment;
  • You are an organized person, able to manage projects, and establish priorities;
  • You are a think-out-of-the-box person, able to solve problems, and find creative and alternative solutions to secure the achievement of the goals;
  • You have excellent communications skills;
  • You are a team player willing to help and support others;
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is a requirement; Other languages are an asset;
  • You have an interest in the marine world and international organizations.
